A&P Group helps keep commercial ships in ship shape. Operating seven dry docks at three locations around the UK, A&P Group provides repair and upgrade services on cruise, ferry, government, and commercial ships. The company also performs conversions, in which ships are lengthened, widened, or altered for new capabilities, from laying cable to pipe, for example. A&P Group offers mobile teams of mechanical and pipe fitters, steelworkers, and electricians that are deployed to perform mobile repairs and emergency maintenance. Customers have included De Beers, Technip, and the UK Ministry of Defence. Owned by Atlantic & Peninsula Marine Services, A&P Group was founded in 1971.
